“ I was so excited to finally try Goong Korean BBQ for the first time, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Opting for their premium menu was definitely the right choice as it offered an extensive selection of meats and dishes that left us more than satisfied. Despite my initial worries about the portion sizes, we found that one order per person was more than enough to enjoy a feast for two. The quality of the meats surpassed any other BBQ place I've been to, and the banchan (side dishes) were simply amazing. I found myself actually finishing both the Caesar salad and the spicy kimchi salad, which is a first for me at a Korean BBQ restaurant. The classic steamed eggs were a hit, and the kimchi fried rice and Korean fried chicken from the appetizer menu were both delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to see options like tiger shrimp prawns and scallops available for grilling with the premium menu. The service was impeccable, and the overall food quality was exceptional. Not only was the food fantastic, but the traditional seating arrangement where you take your shoes off and sit at low tables added an extra touch of authenticity to the experience. I enjoyed every moment of my dining experience at Goong Korean BBQ and can't wait to return. In my opinion, this place outshines other Korean BBQ spots in town, including my previous favorites like Nalsso, 888 Japanese, and Master Kim. Goong Korean BBQ has definitely earned its spot as my new go-to restaurant. ”
